Description
The Russian school of mathematical control theory has held a leading position in the world since the pioneering work of the schools of L. S. Pontryagin, N. N. Krasovsky, V. A. Yakubovich, and A. F. Filippov. In recent years, it has demonstrated new outstanding achievements in areas such as the Hamilton–Jacobi equation formalism for functional-differential systems, optimal control problems on an infinite horizon, geometric control theory, sub-Riemannian, sub-Lorentzian, and sub-Finsler geometries, stability theory and stabilization of nonlinear non-autonomous systems, and nonlinear dynamical and controlled systems in modern engineering problems. The results obtained have applications in classical and quantum mechanics, robotics, models of vision, economics, and artificial intelligence systems.

The conference aims to discuss new results and foster connections between different branches of the Russian school of control theory and its applications. Both renowned experts and talented young researchers from the regions of Russia are invited to participate.

Program

Participants
Participation in the conference with a talk is by invitation from the organizers. Invited participants will be provided with accommodation and breakfast at hotels in Sirius Township by the International Mathematical Center.

Additional Information
Springer will publish a special (peer-reviewed) issue of the Journal of Mathematical Sciences, Series B in 2025 titled
Mathematical Control Theory and Applications. Selected Papers Based on the Self-Titled Conference at Sirius International Mathematics Center (June 9–13, 2025). Editors: Alexey Davydov, Nikolay Lukoyanov, and Yuri Sachkov.
Conference participants may submit new research articles on the conference theme (in English, 8–30 pages) by September 15, 2025, via the editorial platform EditFlow at ef.msp.org/submit/sirius.
