3rd international open scientific and technical festival of robotics “KALASHNIKOV-TECHNOFEST”

The 3rd international open scientific and technical festival of robotics «KALASHNIKOV-TECHNOFEST» will take place in Izhevsk from February 3 to February 12. The festival will be held on three sites: Kalashnikov Ishevsk State Technical University, Kalashnikov Academy, and Udmurt State University. The festival will be supported by the Foundation of Presidential Grants, and the Ural Mathematical Center.

Kalashnikov-Technofest is a cycle of educational events and competitions which brings together high school and university students and all those interested in robotics and related fields. The festival is designed to form a path of continuous professional development spanning widely used robot construction sets and technologies for building task-specific robotic systems using modern manufacturing technologies, equipment and hardware components.

Among the participants in the festival will be more than 300 high-school and university students from all over Russia, including those from the republics Kabardino-Balkaria, Marii-El, Mordovia, Chuvashia and Udmurtia, from the Kemerovo, Rostov, Saratovsk and Tomsk regions, as well as from Kazakhstan, Egypt and Haiti.
