Winter Robotics School 2024

Winter Robotics School “Modern Methods of Robotics and Control Theory”

The Winter Robotics School was held from January 29 to February 3 at the Sirius University of Science and Technology under the sponsorship of the state corporation “Rosatom”.

Elizaveta Artemova and Anna Berdnikova, staff members of the Ural Mathematical Center, completed a training course as part of an educational intensive program, where they gave presentations at a poster session.

The educational program familiarized the participants with modern approaches to and methods for investigating problems of much current interest in mechanics, robotics and control theory and provided them with an exposure to formulations of thematic problems of much current interest in applications. Also, the participants acquired skills in using modern analytical and numerical methods for solving them. The program paid special attention to problems and applications of mobile robotics, problems of planning and controlling the motion of robotic systems with constraints, and problems of simulating and constructing robotic systems possessing elements of autonomy and adaptability. Special emphasis was also placed on introducing the participants to modern methods of robust motion control.
