The 4th All-Russian scientific and technical conference “Modern Problems in Mechanical Power Engineering, and in Oil and Gas Industries’‘, dedicated to the memory of Professor A.V.Aliev, was held at the Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University" from April 11 to April 12, 2024.

The conference was devoted to the analysis of problems and tendencies in the development of mechanical power engineering, oil and gas industries in the modern world.

The main sections of the conference were:

  1. Energy Transforming Machines and Installations.
  2. Oil and Gas Engineering
  3. Mathematical Modeling of Physical Processes
  4. Engineering Economy and Management in Power Machine Building, and in Oil and Gas Industries.

The conference was held in person with the possibility of remote participation (online translation in real-time mode). After the conference, proceedings of the conference indexed in the RINTs basis were published. All participants of the conference received certificates of participation.

The section "Mathematical Modeling of Physical Processes" was opened by Yevgenii Vladimirovich Vetchanin, who gave a talk on the topic "Models of Rigid Body Motion in a Fluid". The following persons gave talks, presenting their papers: Anna Gavrilova ("Investigation of the Plane-Parallel Motion of a Rigid Body with an Attached Vortex in an Ideal Fluid"), Danil Lagunov ("The Influence of an Inhomogeneous Initial Velocity Field in Calculations of Two-Dimensional Fluid Flows in Various Areas") and Dmitrii Solodyankin ("Comparative Analysis of the Model of Vortex Motion in a Viscous and Ideal Fluid"). The papers were written in coauthorship with Elizaveta Markovna Artemova. , junior research worker of the Ural Mathematical Center. For presenting a paper on the topic "Stability and Nonlinear Dynamics of a Bicycle" (research advisor: Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Ivan Alexeevich Bizyaev) Anna Berdnikova was awarded the prize of the 1st degree.
