19th ALL-RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS "NANO-ELECTRONICS, NANO-PHOTONICS and NONLINEAR PHYSICS"

The 19th all-Russian scientific conference of young scientists "NANOELECTRONICS, NANOPHOTONICS and NONLINEAR PHYSICS" was held on October 8-9, 2024, in Saratov at the premises of the Saratov Branch of the Kotelnikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics (RAN).

The conference discussed topics of much current interest, namely, those relating to the physics of micro- and nanostructures, physical materials science, physics of oscillations and waves and other fundamental problems in modern physics which are aimed at designing the physical and technological foundations for the development of information processing devices. During the 19th conference, young scientists, undergraduate and postgraduate students gave oral paper presentations.

Five sections were organized within the framework of the conference:

  1. «Plenary Lectures»
  2. «Physical Materials Science, Micro- and Nanoelectronics, Nanophotonics»
  3. «Functional Wave Electronics (Magneto-, Acousto- and Optoelectronics, Plasmonics)»
  4. «Superhigh-Frequency Vacuum Electronics and THz-Band Vacuum Electronics»
  5. «Nonlinear and Biomedical Physics, Nonlinear Dynamics».

The following employees of the Ural Mathematical Center gave paper presentations in the section ``NONLINEAR and BIOMEDICAL PHYSICS, NONLINEAR DYNAMICS’‘: Danil Lagunov “The Influence of an Inhomogeneous Initial Velocity Field on Calculations of Two-Dimensional Fluid Flows” and Dmitrii Solodyankin ``Dynamics of the Motion of Two Vortices in a Bounded Domain’‘. Paper presentations were also given by two third-year students who study at the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics of the Institute of Mathematics, Information Technologies and Physics of the Udmurt State University and major in applied mathematics and physics: Vasilisa Krasnova «Investigation of the Controlled Motion of the Roller Racer» and Lidia Mokrushina «Analysis of the Influence of Vortex Structures on the Motion of a Body with a Sharp Edge».
