On March 7, a seminar on numerical modeling in hydrodynamics was held. The event was devoted to solving three-dimensional Navier–Stokes equations and to modeling the motion of rigid bodies with internal mechanisms in a fluid.
The speaker was Nikolai Alekseevich Shchur, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Research Fellow at the Russian State Scientific Center for Robotics and Technical Cybernetics (RTC) and Leading Electronics Engineer at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnical University (SPbPU). The expert shared his experience in the numerical simulation of coupled hydrodynamic problems, where the mutual influence between a fluid and a deformable rigid body is taken into account
