“Modern methods of nonlinear dynamics” - school for young mechanicians and mathematicians SYMM 2023

From October 2 through October 6, a school entitled “Modern Methods of Nonlinear Dynamics” (SYMM 2023) was held for young mechanicians and mathematicians at the Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Within the framework of the program of the school, lectures of leading scientists and young scientists from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Lomonosov Moscow University, Innopolis University, and Ailamazyan Program Systems Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences were delivered. Lectures were also given by two young scientists from the Ural Mathematical Center of the Udmurt State University:

• Ivan Alexeyevich Bizyaev, Doctor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, chief research worker at the Ural Mathematical Center, gave a lecture entitled "Qualitative Analysis of the Dynamics of Bicycle Rollers";
• Evgeny Vladimirovich Vetchanin, Doctor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, chief research worker at the Ural Mathematical Center, gave a lecture on the subject "Dynamics of an Above-Water Robot: Experiment, Finite-Dimensional Model, Analysis of Dynamics, and Control".
