An autumn school of robotics was held at the Sirius University from November 13 to November 18 under the program «Modern Methods of Robotics and Control Theory». The school was financially supported by Rosatom.
The Ural Mathematical Center was represented by senior research worker Yurii Leonidovich Karavaev. He gave a lecture on mobile robots to university students.
This educational program allowed the students to widen and improve their knowledge of modern approaches and methods of investigating of important problems in mechanics, robotics and control theory, and to become acquainted with formulations of important problems in applications. Special attention was given to problems and applications of mobile robotics, problems of planning and controlling the motion of robotic systems with constraints, problems of simulating and constructing robotic systems possessing elements of autonomy and adaptability, and to providing an exposure to modern methods of robust motion control.
